Here's a few from my swap: Whadda ya think?

Jeff

Truck overall:

Engine:

Battery / evap area:

Hood hole for the SC: i'll use this until I get my cowl hood.

Hoodscoop: Ebay unit like a Mustangs. Works great.

The Y-pipe 2.5 / 2.5 to a Flowmaster 3" collector. O2 at the collector merge. Unfortunately, it's uncoated right now, but is going to the coater tuesday.

Is that a K&N? If so, it's gotta go. Other than that, it's S-I-C-K. I hope you got the fuel mods all setup for that S/C. Oh and you would get better performance with a 2.5" exhaust.

That's a very clean looking swap. The hood scoop is sweet. Wish my Runner stayed that clean.

Looks really good. Very clean!! x2 on the hood scoop. Can you take more pictures of it?

Also really like the wheels. Are they 16s?

exhaust

I know the K&N deal with the MAFs. I've run them in my SS camaro for 6 yrs now, no MAF issues. It's mainly due to over-oiling (talk to K&N; they'll say the same thing). It'll get swapped when I do a cowl-fed setup.

I have the Walbro, bigger fuel line, and 'Supra' 318cc injectors. As for 2.5 / 3", yup- I probably would get better low-end (It makes a much smaller diff on an S/C vehicle than you think). I went with the 3" because this truck will be getting a boost-built 3.4 in the fall.

Thanks for the comment!
Jeff

What pics do you want?

The wheels are MT 16x8s with 265/70/16s (too short for the 4.56s). The plan is to install the OME setup with 33's in the fall (when I come back from Iraq).

Id like to see a better picture of the hood scoop on the 4runner. I think it looks pretty cool. Is that a Roush hood scoop?

Nice combo on the wheels. They look great!

I'll get one from the front in the AM... it's dark here now. Thanks on the wheels; I wish they were a bit taller, as the 4.56 / 30.5" (barely) combo runs the rpm up a bit.

I'll post the link to the guy selling the scoop; it was pretty damn cheap compared to what the stang guys are paying ($100+). Lemme find the Evilbay receipt.

How are you liking those injectors with the blower? Still trying to decide which way to go on my end.

I like the injectors- but Tuesday AM will tell the tale. I was going to dyno it fri am, but he got backed up & I got busy. I'm going to try to get it tuned right this weekend (FTC1 / R4). It needs more transistion fuel & the timing maps need to be modified.

No #s yet, but it's got lotsa snort!

Damn that's a nice clean runner, sick swap too...
Numbers for it will prob be in the 225-250rwhp area.... (depending on how good the tune is and size of pulley)....

Hey Jeff, you aren't in florida by any chance? That supercharger looks really familiar. I was just telling someone how I wish I kept mine. Glad to see the swap went as planned.

Dale-
Yes, I used Downey headers (see pic), then modified them & made the Y-pipe. Also Yes to the URD stuff- pump, injectors, FTC1, etc.

Brad-
Yup, that's me! Thanks again for the deal on the SC. So far, so g***.

I also installed some HIDs; damn they're bright! When you are next to another vehicle, you can really see the difference. I went with 6K- not too bling-bling-ish.

Which Downey part number did you use that fit? I always thought one could use a Tacoma part and them have an exhaust shop mod a custom crossover to fit it in there! Any problems with leaks or anything? Did you have to use a lot of sealant? Let me know, Thanks.

P.S.:

Once again, VERY CLEAN.
