3.0 Throttle body coolant bypass
On a '94 3VZ-E would there be any negative affects on anything if the throttle body coolant lines were connected together rather than to the throttle body?

yes how would it affect the idle speed?
this is a common mod with the LS1 (and probably with all gen IV small blocks) which are obdII and more complicated than our simple engines...

the addition of a throttle body coolant bypass. routes engine coolant through the throttle body to keep the throttle plate from sticking in extremely cold weather. This has the rather obvious result of heating up the throttle body and possibly the incoming air. Since hotter air is less dense, the engine produces less power...... that help explan it at all ?

Could the bypass be routed through a valve assembly so you could run bypass in the summer and normal in the winter? Which lines are the coolant heater lines?
