Hope I can get some help. I have a 91 pickup with the 3.0. Just got done doing head gaskets. Started it up, timed it. Replaced timing belt etc. It runs very rough at idle. Low idle ( around 500-600) all new plugs and wires. When I rev it up it just goes dead kinda like a flat spot.

Sprayed all vacuum lines down with carb cleaner, sprayed intake manifolds etc to get check for leaks. No sign of any. No check engine light. No codes.

Checked firing order its good, checked and rechecked all vacuum line routing.

What are your valve clearances ?

 

Cam timing is dead on. Have not checked Valve Clearances
