"Inu" that is the most ridiculous thing ive ever seen.

Ill typically store my antique vases in the washing machine on spin cycle for safe keeping.
And if all else fails on the trial ill use my macbook pro as a high lift jack base to prevent sinking in the mud. And if I see that 2 vehicles are about to collide ill typically throw myself between them to cushion the hit. And last but not least ill typically stick the most fragile item on the vehicle in the most "likely" place for it to get damaged.

Ps thats nothing to brag about

Higher RPM "overheating" normally indicates a coolant "flow" problem.

As for the the size of a trans cooler, Unless you live in the extreme cold climate location going oversize only helps, Its cost and fit that make the restriction.

It was a temp fix thats worked. Im going to either make a 3/16 plate full skid and efan or move it to the back next season. Spotters hated the first mount. Just giving options for the guy.

Btw -- noticed recently that proper auto tranny operating temps are in the maintenance section of the manual (had looked previously in the A/T section and only found the 158*F lock up solenoid disengagement temp mentioned):
Check that the fluid level is in the ”HOT” range at the normal operating temperature (70 – 80*C or 158–176*F) and add as necessary.

Again, this suggests value in a minimum temperature range. Still torn about running a thermal bypass valve: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRANSMISSION...-/321082407626
