There are so few shops that acutally will do this that you're much better off saving money and doing the swap yourself.

I think it would be cheaper if you could do it yourself, but you could always give F2uning a call, they're north on Moscow somewhere...

I'm not doing a swap, i'm just new to Idaho, and would love to find a good shop to do the stuff I don't want to do myself when it is so cold outside.

I'm going to be doing a swap from a 3.0 V6 to a 3.4 V6 (from a 4 Runner) into an 89 2 wheel drive long bed Toyota truck. Are the motor mounts the same? Just a direct bolt in? Do you think the dashboard can be changed, too? Thanks.

If you want to swap in a new powerplant swap a 7mgte in I6 torque with daul overhead cam performance 1990-1992 7MGTE Hp 232@5600 rpm torque 254@3200 rpm

I am finishing my 7mgte swap soon
I miss my truck
I am driving a f 350 it is not my yota
I got an after market turbo set up so it looks like there should be 300 rear wheel hp

hey another tofer on the board! yes the motor mounts should be the same. the 3.4 will bolt directly to a 5sp. i am not sure what is involved wiht mateing it to a auto. the hardest part i have heard about this swap is the wireing.

A 5m is a total bolt in for my 81
7mgte was stipping to bare frame rail and creating My own brackets
reiforced my frame and building custom bumper from scratch
should be looking at 325 rear wheel Hp @ 20lbs
