My brother just bought a '90 4Runner. He's having an issue with the electric locks and windows acting funny.
Two of the locks, drivers door and right rear, will not unlock. But he can use the key to force it while lifting the handle from the outside of the drivers door. The handle on the inside doesn't work at all.
He only tried one window, the right rear, since it started acting up and it wouldn't go back up for a day and a half.
He believes its probably caused by an issue with the "control box" under the dash.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I don't know much about 2nd Gen Runners.
