2nd Gen front end swap

So I posted this in the Newb forum and got nothing.

"Has anyone actually done a late 2nd gen to early 2nd gen headlight/grille swap? I know I'll need the whole front grille, bezel, lights, bumper, valance. Will it all just bolt right up?"

Ive seen lots of threads discussing it but no1 who has actually done it.
Write up or pictures of the conversion?

seems like i remember reading something about having to change the core support and all kinds of stuff..but it would be worth it to get some decent headlights (H4 conversion housings with some 55w/100w BI-Xenon HID's)

I went from early to late front end swap and yes the core support, which is spot welded on in about 40 places has to be changed.
