3rd gen cover is the same width. I got one on ebay but have yet to pull out the cargo panel to place the mounts.

I also want to add a cargo cover to my 95 4Runner (US version), but lack the mounts. Has anyone else done this? I can find 3rd gen covers all the time on Ebay, but are we sure they will fit a 2nd gen?

I searched and read several threads on this topic, but no one has posted any pix of a cargo cover install in a 2nd gen. Help!

Any luck on ordering mounts from the Stealership?

I realize this is a incredibly old thread. But I think the Canadians are Hoarding all of the cargo Covers as well! Dammit. Still be interested to know if anyone’s Torn off the plastic panels to see if there was mounting hardware or anything that I can bolt onto for a DIY cover. Considering just hooking some canvas like cloth onto the plastic pull up mechanisms that lowers the rear seats. But I am still having the issue of want to hook it onto at the tailgate. I’m in desperate need of a cover considering I’m living out of it. Ridiculousness, this that the US runners have no covering options. I have ˟˟˟˟˟ to hide too😖
