2nd gen 3rd Row Seat Dilemma
I'm thinking of picking up a 3rd row seat for my 2nd gen. For $355 I can get the seat which comes with 2 head rests, 2 shoulder seatbelts, and one over the lap seatbelt. I'm thinking of this because I now have a child and want to go in one car with family and friends when we go out. Not sure about to much comfort though with getting in and out, plus sitting. Just seems like a good idea, though. The seat can easily come out when not needed so I don't lose the rear space when needed.
Please give me your opionions, thoughts, etc. Thanks!

Dont know if I would do that and put kids back there. What happens if you get in a wreck and the vehicle catches fire? Wont really be able to get the rear passengers out too quickly due to the way the rear door works.

I would't worry about this unlikely scenario.
Where did you find the seat for that price. I have been looking & they seam really expensive, $700 on up. I was going to go to the wrecker. Look at my other thread about the 3rd row seat.

Take a look at the older (90's) Mercury Tracer and Ford Escort station wagons. The backs seats in them look like they would be a perfect fit. Could prob be had for really cheap at a junk yard too.
