22rte master cylinder help

So the master cylinder in my 87 toyota 4x4 turbo truck went out. Calling around to the auto parts stores in the area, no one has one or thinks they can get one, I'm wondering maybe if I bend the break line that goes on the front part of the cylinder, I might be able to use a regular 22re master cylinder? Anyone know if there are anything that could hinder me from doing this? Maybe a V-6 master cylinder will work? Any advice would be helpful, it went out just about as I was going to try and sell it to fund my 1980 project

Thanks for reading

I recently upgraded to a 1" bore master from a 2nd gen v6 4runner or 3rd gen hilux. Only modification is bending the front brake line to get it to connect to the side rather than the top. I really like the stiffer pedal compared to the old one. I ordered mine from Marlin Crawler $89.

Wink

if you are able to make your own lines just about any that bolt up should be able to work.

The only real difference I can see is where the ports are.

My one Turbo truck had the Master cylinder upgraded or changed but I have no idea where it came from.

My one has a heatshield one does not
