OK, my friend has a 1988 toy Toyota truck. It has been sitting for about 8 mounts, and when he started it, it started right up. He had to keep his foot on the gass to keep it running. Once it was warmed up, it ran fine. He started it up about 4 time over 2 weeks, and no problem except leeping his foot on the gass till it warmed up. Now, it will not start. If he sprays starting fluid in the T. Body. it starts righ up, runs for about 30 sec., and then dies right out. Any help please of what it could be.

Is he sure there is gas in it? Start with the basics.

No codes that I no of. I do no that I donot smell any gass at all. Is there any way fo seeing if it is getting gass.
