22re and v6 gear ratio and more !
Hi guy's i would like to know at wich RPM the 22re with a manual 5 speed transmission will turn at 100km/h / 60mph on original size tires , oem diff etc" **EDIT: with a 4x4 transfercase**
Also , at wich RPM the V6 with a 5 speed manual transmission would turn at 100km/h / 60mph with original everything too.
Does the v6 transmission bellhousing be swapped over with a 22re bellhousing ?
I'm currently finishing my TDI ALH swap into my 1992 4runner , originally 4x4 22re engine 5 speed manual.
The problem is , to fit the engine in , i had to move the whole drivetrain forward 4 inches , ( i installed a v6 transmission crossmember to get everything forward ) , wich now make my shifter hit the dash , my driveshaft to be spaced.
Currently the truck is running fine , but it's an old beated up , rough body that i bough for a handful of peanuts , i will eventually buy an other body in much more descent form and swap over my engine.
The thing is i would like to buy 'the right truck from the start' if i know i can buy a v6 , remove the engine , swap the bellhousing and VOILA , no need to shift everything forward , no driveshaft to space and no more shifter bending thing to do , i would be soo happy !
Sorry for the long and somehow boring first long post.
Thanks in advance for your help , and please , forgive me about my not soo perfect english !
Thanks , Jordan.
