89 yoda... 4x4 22re. 5 speed Fresh rebuild. Less than 1000 miles since complete rebuild. Everything in the bottom end is new... new crank, pistons, rings, rods, timing chain.... Head redone, yada yada. The only things that were not replaced were the fuel injectors, and sensors pretty much..

Here's what happens. I can get in, start it up, take off.... it feels like something is holding it back. I can floor it.... nothing... it goes through 1st and halfway through 2nd and then its like it hits a power band and it will literally sit me back in the seat.
Then it runs fine.
I can stop at a store .... shut it off.... come back, start it up and it will do it all over again until the next time I shut it off...
It does it whether its cold or hot. Any ideas?
