is a 22re rebuild hard?
i found an 88 pick-up that will most likely need a rebuild, how hard is it? and how much would it normally cost.
thanks,
Jason

its not hard at all man i did it in my garage of an apartment complex where u wil get kicked out if u just work on a car haha. i had the crank ground, block bored and honed, head had a valve job, i got a new timing cover and new flywheel and clutch and eveyrthing was new. bearings pistons pumps lines hoses o rings around the injectors and the total cost was like 1500 or something like that.

easy to do its a small motor and parts are easy to get. i would go for it. take the heads to a shop to get surfaced and if you really want the block to get honed but you can also just use a drill and a honer to DIY. great experience too and saves tons on labor
