22re rebuild

ok heres the deal i have a 94 pickup with 206000 mi on it. it has a wierd knock, not loud enoughto be a rod knock and its not valve tick its inbetween. its louder when its cold it use to go away when it warmed up but now it just isnt as loud. anyways i was thinking maybe timing chain, some one else told me maybe a wrist pin im not sure. any ways i work at a parts store right now and i can get a rebuild kit pistons, timing chain kit every thing for around $200 and i have a place to do it now. i am moving this summer and i wont have a place to rebuild or the good deal to buy a kit. should i rebuild or fix my problem if its just timing chain cause i think its du anyways.

just some personal opinions would be appreciated

I don't think I would go through the trouble of rebuilding if it's something easy that could be fixed. I would look into the timing chain/guides if they haven't been changed in a while. Injectors tick on these engines too.
