22re No oil to filter ??
Greetings gurus,
trying to get my new build running and am not getting any oil to the filter or pressure hole. It looks like it’s pumping up to the heads cause there was oil up there (also in the intake runners). I spun it topped off with all fluids ready to go and spun it on and off for a full minute to prime everything (coil unplugged) before trying to start it. I tested the pressure switch both electrically and with comp air and it’s good.
it started first try, rough as you would expect without being timed, but I shut it down after 10 sec because of oil light.
Also suspicious of head gasket cause comp is 150, 145, 130, 135.
Any ideas? I’m about to pull the head and dye/pen it for a suspected crack but really don’t want to pull the whole motor back out. I just can’t figure out why there’s no oil going to the filter.
