It runs but wont rev past 2 grand then cuts out. any idea what it could be?

incorrectly installed TPS?

my buddy's had the same symptoms after he put his new 22re in his 90... turns out that he installed it wrong and it was basically reading like the throttle was about 1/4 open while is was actually not open at all...

 

TPS, timing, forget to tighten down the air ducts?
clogged converter?
