22RE gas path
The gas line from the tank seems to come to the fuel filter and then into the fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulator bolts right onto the fuel rail and the injectors are connected to the fuel rail.
I am having difficulty seeing the path of the gas so that the regulator actually controls the pressure to the injectors.
Are there some separate passages within the fuel rail.
Can someone explain? Thanks, Dave

The way it works is your fuel return line is connected to the fuel pressure regulator. When fuel pressure gets to high it opens
Hard to explain without looking at a fuel rail it has been awhile

Fuel Pump on RE22
Thanks, Wyoming9 that's what I figured and just needed to confirm.
I have determined that the check valve on my fuel pump is bad. Rail pressure drops to zero immediately when engine is turned off. Also watched the fuel pressure after pressurizing, pinching supply fuel line and return line (engine off) and then releasing flow in the supply line and pressure drops to zero immediately
What symptoms is a bad check valve likely to show?
Thanks,
Dave
