What is the compatibility of 22re injectors throughout the model years?

Specifically I have an 89 pickup with newly reconditioned injectors that I am parting out. I would like to swap these injectors to my 87 4runner (22re) that I am reconditioning to be the DD.

Looks like the plug in connection is different (oval vs square)

those wont swap at all.
Injectors were unique 86,87, then changed for 88, and again in 89 and up.

Even in injectors that will swap - check their resistance. There were high and low impedance models.. You don't want to mix and match.
