22re cel and possible shorts

so from 80k to 155k this truck has never flashed a cel. I was pulled over the other day for having driver side headlight out yet the highbeam still works for both lights.

I SUCK at anything electric im a gear guy. anyway my cel flashed for a few miles today and left like a ghost. tps o2 sensor ? bad wiring.

its a 93 efi 22re. what are the top 3 reasons for a cel on a 22re? and does anyone think it has to do with my hl going out?

Start by doing the E1 to TE1 wire and get the code pulled up then you can narrow it down

The cel is not staying on it was intermittent. what could cause it to flash then turn back off? that is more of my question. It also has not flashed again since that day.

Even though the light is not currently on, the code should still be stored as long as you didn't disconnect the battery or pull the EFI fuse.
