22RE A/C Question - ORing Sizes
Hey all.
'95 DLX 22RE-C. I had a leak in the A/C system. I found and fixed it - replaced the condenser. I bought an o-ring kit (green) and replaced them all where I'd opened the system. I added PAG per the FSM and lubed the o-rings prior to installation. I borrowed a vac pump from Autozone, pumped down the system and leak tested it for an hour. After charging, I had cold air for about an hour, then the o-ring between the drier and the line to the condenser blew. So, I opened it up, replaced the o-ring, pumped it down and recharged it again. It lasted several hours and then blew out again - same o-ring. I've inspected the dried and hose fittings for damage and I can't see anything wrong. I'm thinking that the o-rings I have aren't quite the right size. Anyone know the size to use? I've looked on line for parts diagrams and called Toyota parts - they don't have any info either.
Thanks!
