22re back two cylinders malfunctioning

I just rebuilt my 22re got everything put together and. After messing with the timeing a little it will run but very rough. You can unhook the back two spark plugs and it does not effect the motor at all. All the wires are geting spark and I can take out the spark Plug and see and smell gas so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't know if it's a injector wire messed up or something. Motor sounds good besides that any help would be mouth appreciated
Thanks

Valve adjustment possibly ? Get it warmed up and take a compression test and see what you have . My .02 !!

Make sure plugs are gapped right. Make sure your plug wire are routed right ( right position on the cap, and to the right plugs).Check that when you are on TDC/compression stroke on #1 cylinder that your rotor points to #1 plug wire.
Check your valve adjustments and compression like blue runner said. Your valve timing may be off from installing your chain wrong, and a compression test will show this.
