22R no power

So I have an 86 toyota pickup. it had a 22R. The wife was driving it and blew a coolant hose. fixed that but it wold not run realy good any more. like. 40 mph tops. While i was trying to diognose it It got a bad bearing and took the crank out. I found I doner 86 4 runner. Pulled the 22re out and swaped the intake stuff to the 22R. put it in and it still does the same thing. I have had 3 differant carbs on it so im guessing thats not the problem. What do you think could cause this? EGR, something emmisions, fuel? It starts up good when its cold (still no power but idles fine) but when it warms up it wont idle and backfires through the intake.

You are off a tooth on the distributor. The mechanical timing is off, something you swapped is installed incorrectly.

It is timed 5 deg before tdc. I did have it timed wrong when I tried to start it up for the first time but got that fixed now. 2 different engines, same carb, intake, distributor, and all emmisions crap same problem as original engine. It idles good when cold but no power anytime. I will checking timing again though.

Also the head is from the new engine. So the timing from crank to cam have not been messed with. The only timing I touched is the distributor. Could something be telling the timing advance to be off. Something emmisions wise?
