After tearing down my motor to do the HG and timing chain - I've discovered that I need a new head now (cracked). Just what I needed.. not really.

I'd like a little more power... so, I'm considering some of the performance heads out there (EngnBldr, etc.). If I do something like this - I should get a header at some point as well as a new carb.

What would you guys recommend for a little more pep but not lose all of my fuel economy? I'm thinking a 38/38 Weber is probably out because from what I've read it likes to drink fuel.
