22R Bad Hesitation While Accelerating

Got a 1986 Toyota P/U 22R, Stock Carb. Truck Warms up fine, when it gets warm, it will start to hesitate badly whenever I lay my foot on the gas pedal while in gear or driving or accelerating from a stop. While it hesitates, I noted the engine never dies, and idles fine while warm... until you try to accelerate. Took a look at some threads, many people pointed out checking filter, EGR, wires, etc. I have recently replaced my distributor, so the Vacuum Advance is working. I cleaned my EGR system a few months ago, however there is still a chance for failure. Wires and timing seem to be in good shape. i was wondering if anyone knew where to look next, if they had this problem, ideas? Thanks.

Check the accelerator pump in the carburetor and make sure the auxiliary accelerator pump is not getting left on when the engine is warm. With the engine off, look into the throat of the carburetor and push on the accelerator pump. A smooth flow of fuel should be injected into the throat of the carburetor. Probably the simplest way to make sure the AAP is not staying on is to just disconnect and plug the vacuum line.

When you replaced your distributor, did you set your ignition time with the lines connected to the vacuum advance? If you did thats wrong and could contribute to the problem.
