0 degrees on a 22r with the vac advance lines disconnected. 5 BTDC with the jumper in on an re. Some people are running 10 or 12 on the re. My rebuilt don't like anything more than 3 degrees advanced. But I have other "issues" that may or may not affect that.

Do I make any changes to the degree of timing for elevation? Or should it be left right at 0?

Factory service manual says 0 degrees, makes no reference to elevation. Unless the engine had the HAC system in which it takes care of itself and it would still be 0 degree. 6 or 7 degrees is way too much for the carb'd motor.
