well, i know almost every toyota has these, so its not an original idea, but i love the way they look. hella 500 driving lights.

i hooked it up to my low beams instead of high beams.

whadya think?

next order of business is fixing the rust thats started on the bottom of the hood and passenger fender.

in total, about 70$, and 2 hours to mount and install. well worth it, i got the lights from advanced auto parts, we went to the states this weekend, burlington vt to be exact. ur guys stuff is way cheaper, at home would have cost me around 100$, and were only 45 mins away.

Just tack a few 10" pieces of rebar on the front. Spike'em on there and just keep on truckin'. Peel it off at home and BBQ.

True story: My dad was once on a date, and hit a deer on a bridge (he couldn't avoid it). He picked it up, put it in his trunk, continued with the date, and afterwards took the deer out at home and butchered it.

Its blasphamy round bout these parts not to process any deer that you hit. Hell, most of us swerve towards the deer in the road. "Baby, we gonna eat good tonight!"

Why would you hook it up to your low beams? Driving on the road at night you have no choice but to blind people with your 500's hooked up to your low beams, or your high beams... Doesn't make sense...

I've got some Optilux 9000 or 900 series by hella and they are very bright. Got em wired through my brights. They have 100 watt bulbs and I got them for $50. Not a fan of the chrome style but they are brighter than my old $50 lights. Now for back up lights....

I got KC 57 series that have interchangeable lenses, amber fog, clear for and clear driving that I swapped 100w lightbulbs into. Work very well for my purposes, I mounted them my my bumper by using a peice of angle iron I painted black then bolted to the bumper. I wanna take them off I unbolt the piece and stick those little black plastic caps you guy at the store int the holes and no one is to the wiser.

I wired mine totally independently, they cannot fail you for inspection if they are off road lights only and you have covers on them.

mine are just wired on there own with a relay; I can have every light off on the truck, flip the toggle, and just have those fog lights on... I named them "The Police Evaders"
