1st gen brakes vs 2nd gen brakes 4runner

Alright i have searched quite a bit and cant quite find the right answer to this.
Are the brakes from a 1st gen 4runner 22re interchangeable with the 2nd gen 4runner 3.slow.
The reason that I ask is i had put all new breaks in my 2nd gen including all new bearings, rotors, pads, and calipers. Now that 4runner is totalled.
I am getting a 1st gen and the brakes are shot.

So can I put all my second gen brakes parts on the 1st gen. especially since I have the v6 calipers.
Actually can I just swap the entire hub since I have the wheel bearings and everything in there.

Cliffnotes.
2nd gen 4runner with new pads, rotors, calipers, and wheel bearings
Can I just swap them over to a 1st gen 4runner? Can I swap the hub and wheel bearings over as well just as one big assembly?

Also I will be putting the rims and tires from the 2nd gen onto the 1st gen as well so there should be no clearance issue as far as i know.

Would this be an upgrade? Are the rotors the same between generations? I know I would be getting a bigger caliper.

I think the MC and booster are bigger on my 2nd gen as well so I will probably swap those. I believe my 2nd gen should have the double diaphragm booster vs single in the 1st gen. I dont know for sure though because I am hundreds of miles away from both vehicles at the moment.

Maybe the easier question would be. Are the ifs' the same on these two vehicles?

ive read through every bit of the brake stuff on there. I am well aware of that FAQ. i just couldnt find quite the right answer. Is there any write up about the similarities/differences between 1st and 2nd gen.

Thanks for the help on the brakes. This should be like a 30 minute swap then.

The vented rotors are the same thickness and the 4cyl and V6 calipers are the same except for piston size. All the wheel bearings are the same, even on the SFA.

I have walked through it in my mind and can't think of anything different other than just the actual caliper sizing...but that is a non issue. I am old and it is late (just to leave me an out if I did miss something).

Be sure to UPDATE this thread after you swap things over for future users who have the same questions!

ill try to update. this swap will take place in about a month. but i wanted to know now so that i did not buy all new brakes for the new one in the mean time. long story

i am expecting that all i will have to do is take off the tire.
unbolt the caliper and brake line.
take off the 2 54mm? nuts (i have the socket)
pull off the hub, rotor, and bearings
then just switch them over and bolt it back up.

then i will just swap brake booster and master cylinder and i am done.

i believe this will:
upgrade me to bigger caliper piston size (i know this one for sure)
go from single diaphram to double on the booster
go to a slightly bigger MC
save me from having to buy all new brake parts again.

This should be a pretty decent free upgrade.

i always come up with bad thoughts when it comes to stuff like this(projects that cost $$$)
it would be neat to try to reuse the 1st gen calipers and bits on the rear.
tell me why this cant be done. i know you can do it with some kits that use like monte carlo calipers and such. but why not with the toyota calipers?
does something not line up? could a bracket be fabricated or something.
