I first tried a “reman” Cardone motor, but returned it. There was nothing reman about it. Cleaned and repaired would have been a more apt description.
If you get a replacement motor there’s a good chance the connector is different. Rather than cut and splice, you can take the connector off your old motor and put it on the new. Much nicer.

No left hand motor is gonna fit.

The left and right motors are mirror images of each other and the tailgate uses the right hand type.

Good catch!! I guess 742-600 is not the right part number?
