I'm pretty sure I saw someone do it over on Pirate. Looked pretty cool.

generally, no. they won't interchange.
that doesn't mean that someone with some dexterity can't make it fit though.
it's not a simple bolt on swap.

Get a set of round head light buckets from previous model or a set from like a TJ and get them mounted with the adjustment rods and go from there, those are the must have, everything else fit around them and I guess will have to be custom made, others have re-did there grilles for inserts and then use resin to smooth it out, you can use the original square head light surrounds and shape the rest with resin or plastic body filler, only way to really know is to try and do it and if successful it would look amazing and different from all others :}

Here's a cleaner edit of how it would look. Not perfect. You can see blur above the headlights and the passenger side bulb isn't circular.

I've found a 2nd gen pickup on the internet before with round headlamps mountedbehind his factory grille where his squares would normally go. I'll try tracking it down again. In the mean time Here's a few ideas for you...

There should be just enough room to shove some round factory lights behind your grille...

Message 3ylsykrs on here for details on his setup. Looks like a 1st gen pickup grille with the ends cut off...

Ok here my list so far: I got the circular headlight buckets from a camaro, i think 74-81. Then i got the 7" round headlights both off Ebay. I didnt get a grille yet because if they fit behind my grille and look good ill keep it for awhile. But I have two more things on my list before i buy the grille.
