1st gen 4runner and 84-88 pickup doors interchangeable?

I searched a bit but didn't find anything. Does anyone know for sure if the doors on the 1st gen 4runner and the 84-88 pickup are interchangeable? I currently have vent window doors on my 86 4runner and would like non vent. I tripped onto a set of 84 pickup non vent doors for a reasonable price, but need to know if they'll fit.

Thanks,
Ron

Good point, but I never sit in the back seat myself so the kids will just have to deal with it...

Are you planning on getting rid of the vent window hardware/glass? There are a few of us who wouldn't mind paying a bit for the parts. I'm wanting to do a conversion myself, but don't have the money right now or I would be making an offer!

As far as the handles go, you wouldn't necessarily have to swap whole doors, just the guts on the inside, so you could keep your handles, just swap the glass, weather stripping, regulator, and the funky looking black triangular peice in front of the window. This would also keep you from having to paint the other doors to match your truck.

Make a set of 1/2 doors out of your old/new set (which ever you use) but make sure to leave the top part of the frame on the door.

Well if I can just swap all the parts then yeah I probably would be willing to part with the glass etc from the vent windows. Then I could turn the non vent doors themselves into half doors. Sweet! I'll keep ya posted on things...
