1992 4runner V6, when you crank it cold it idles fine most of the time, after it warms up it either surges or idles high. There is no check engine light on, it also has a miss you can feel under normal acceleration but can't feel at WOT, anybody had similar probs?????

 

that sounds like a vacuum leak to me. When it is idling high/surging spray carb cleaner around the base of the intake plenum and any visible places on the intake side and note any significant changes in idle speed. It should make a big difference when you hit the money spot. Good luck

I'll say vac. leak as well. Any work done under the hood recently? Does anything change when the brake pedal is pushed in? Does the engine ever come off of cold-start?
