1991 Toyota pickup rumble from front end

Hey guys, my 1991 toyota pickup 4x4 22re has a bit of an issue. When i accelerate from a complete stop up until about 30km, theres a rumbling noise from the front end. After 30km the rumble ceases and, it drives smooth as usual. Im out of ideas, its an ifs with add.

Is this a european pickup??

Just kidding.. If on a turn, probably a CV, or a failing bearing with a harmonic resonance that dissipates with increase in speed, if so it will get worse the longer you wait

It doesnt do it all the time, guess i could try doing the passenger cv, just did the drivers side. Then if that doesnt fix it try the bearings. Thanks for the help

Usually, you can feel a bad bearing just by jacking up the wheel, and turning it by hand. You should feel nothing at all; if you can feel anything I'd suspect the bearing.

To eliminate the half shaft, remove the half shaft, then try turning the wheel. You might have to put the wheel back on (you almost certainly removed it to get to the half shaft) to get enough leverage (the brake could drag slightly).

sometimes one exposes the other

I'm just putting out there, other suggestions posted sound feasible as well.
The loud CV you replaced might have covered the other noise, bearing not totally toast only growl at certain speeds (I speak of an 82 Tercel I had in the early 90's)
And sometimes the new one eats the old one, I did in pairs like brakes
Just my $.02

You can easily stop the CV shafts from turning just by pulling off the drive plates on the hubs (remove the 6 small bolts and cone washers.). It won't hurt it to drive it around that way (in 2wd) for test purposes as long as you stay out of the mud and dirt. If the noise goes away it's probably the CV shaft. If it continues then you need to look at your bearings.
