1991 toyota 4runner 3.0L timing belt/new injectors/vale job,service

i have a 1991 toyota 4runner with 104,000 miles on it.
toyota serviced the 4runner @ 53,800 miles for the head gasket recall and new
timing belt, and valve adjustment and brakes.
so at around 50k miles my timing belt barrings are shot, u can wiggle it, lots of play, all stock toyota parts.
the water pump seems fine, but i was losing water from somewhere?
i found some busted bolts left in the engine (thanks toyota dealer)
some bent brackets ( thanks toyota dealer)
my rear brakes did not work do to that valve thing (thanks toyota dealer for checking after a brake job not)
and my valves are just out of spec, all around .014 .013
toyota just did them 50k miles ago? or did they?
I got some 4 hole fuel injectors off ebay for 125 bucks.
I MADE A CRANKSHAFT HOLDING TOOL got a 4 foot stick of 1/8 thick 3 inch wide, steel cut it almost in half, looks kinda like scissors for 15 bucks.
ill try and post photo of tool but i got the idea off google photos of crank holding tool. my ac idle barring is shot. its all apart ill update soon.

First off, what year was your 4runner serviced and how long has it been since then?

Second, Regarding the timing belt, barrings, ect, those are supposed to be changed/maintained every 6 years.

Third, if you have done regular oil changes every 3 months or 3,000 miles, you should not need to worry about your valves.

the date toyota worked on it was around 1997?
a long time ago. it had 53,800 miles per timing belt sticker.
the truck sits inside the garage, being in NV we have low humidity around 20%.
it gets driven every 30 days for around 20 miles.
I understand that time takes its toll on belts and things made of rubber, thats why i wanted to change the belt @ 50k miles. the timing belt had no damage/cracks.
the barring's do not become sloppy with age.
what i understand with barring's is they are rated by hours of use,
some are rated at say 100,000 hours and some at 500,000 hours.
I use redline 10/30 oil and i change it out every 5000 miles with a fram extra gard filter.
and yes I was not planing/expecting the valves to be out of spec?
the only thing i can think of is if toyota did not adjust them at 53,800 miles?
I now ordered the camshaft holding tool and some other parts.
I figure its easier to just pull the cams to fix the valve adjustments as most of the valves are out of specs. i then can inspect the cams/barring's
the timing belt kit, i got off ebay all GMB parts and a mitsubishi timing belt.
it comes with a new toyota tension spring, ( I'm not sure why the spring stays on the barring? ones u torque the idle barring down it does not move)?
with motorcycles theres an external set bolt u can loosen to reset the spring tension on the timing chain. but none on the toyota.
I also ordered that nitrocat 1200 1/2 inch impact wrench, it says 1200 ft.lb. tq
the youtub video shows it putting out 568 foot lb. of tq. my earthquake gun says 750 tq. but it cannot break 80 foot pound of tq. ill test it and if it sucks it goes right back o amazon. i am now waiting on a cam holding tool, so the repair is on hold.

The oil you use looks good, But I would change it at 4K miles or 3 months and possibly upgrade the filter. Fram really does not have a good filter in it. And 1997 to now (2015) is a long while for your belts even tho its just driven 20 miles each day.

the redline oil i use is a synthetic oil rated for 15,000 mile oil changes.
it does not break down over time like regular oil.
i bought a lot of it when it was cheap now it sells for 12 bucks a qt.
there gear oil 75/90 is good for 60,000 miles, 4x longer then regular.
redline D4 atf is the best transmission oil(.) also lasts 4x longer then regular oil.
shift kit in a bottle.
I use redline so i don't have to change oil do to time.
I use the farm extra gard filter, not sure what oil filters are better?
the manual does not have a change by date on the timing belt,
it just says change @ 60,000 miles for schedule A.
the stock timing belt barring's suck big time, shot @50k miles.
they probably were bad at 40,000 miles.
now i have to read about oil filters.

Baldwin & Motorcraft are two of the best oil filters. You want to look at anti drain back features and micron ratings when researching oil filters.
Odin has done quite a bit of research on filters. I'm sure you can find his post using the search feature on this site.

my shop teacher said the best oil filter was the reusable ss steel
one where you filled the filter with tissue, he said it worked so well
it filtered all the additives out of the oil.
