Even though my Back Door Dash light was on, I pushed the down switch on my console, and the window rolled down. Now, I can't get it back up!


I hooked up a battery directly to the motor, and it didn't work. However, if I press the down switch up front, it makes a click sound. My window is still down, unfortunately


Now, I'm thinking to just try to fix the Back Door Dash light. How would I go about doing that? I think the latch isn't properly hooking on, even though the tailgate is nice and locked. I tried removing both ends "sensor" plugs, but the light is still there.


Is this a problem with the relay or whatever that's in the driver side passenger door? Like, the little black thing?
Or can a faulty motor trigger this? (Even though I rolled it down before).
