1990 lower shifter boot

i did try to search and find this out ,and i searched marlin crawler as well, anyway i was going to change the shifter bushing on my 1990 5 sp and realized the lower boot has seen better days, torn in half im assuming to do it right i should change it.On marlin crawler they just listed the 80s model none for the 90s,would anyone have a part number or description of the boot?or do you have to buy the whole assembly - flange that mount to the transmission?

I bought one about a year ago from Toyotapartscenter.net for my 90sr5. Don't remember the number but you can just call them and they can get you what you need.

Not having a manual, I'm not entirely sure what the "lower" boot is, but this site has drawings, part numbers, and will sell you the part.

As usual, you will get much better results if you use your VIN. That will pick out the correct model for you.

its the small boot that covers the transmission stick shift internals, keeps dirt and all out of the transmission.Another question i had was that i noticed that on the breakdown there was only one bushing, the larger bushing that marlin crawler sells is not listed. Is this something that marlin added that was not factory,or did some models not have that setup, with the marlin crawler design per say.

You can get the trans shifter boots from Toy dealer still, I got both for my R150F for less then $20 together.
part 33555-20060, I don't know if this is the main stick or tranfercase and cant find the other label.
They both installed with ease using Astroglide.

When I installed my MC ball seat there was no stock part there like it; just the rubber ring. I assume this is how they all are. When you install the new seat you can pitch the old ring.

You try sliding those boots over the stick with out lube and a good chance or tearing them.

Astroglide is waterbase and evaporates.
