I have a 1986 toyota truck that that had a complete 1989 engine swap with ECU and harness, well I just bought this truck and the When I start it it will runs good for about a minute and then tries to idle and will die, and I checked the code and it is throwing 24. The fuel pump is coming on, I can drive it at higher RPS and it will run descent but hesitates some times, Im thinking that there is a bad connection between the Mass air flow meter and the ECU? Could that be my problem?

 

its sounds like you thought, something with the maf. what is code 24 btw?
