i have a 1988 toyota pickup v6 4x4 and i was replacing the distributor cap and the one i just bought does not have a o ring like the one i took off anyone else have this model truck of know if this truck requires the o ring i cant find one at any auto parts stores.

 

i haven't run with mine on there for a while. Some people are using RTV on it. I have no clue why new caps don't come with one, dealership has them and maybe you can find one at Napa store.
