1988 4runner
I think I have a serious problems but want to get additional advice. I have been posting on here asking questions about my 4runner and trying to get it back on the road. The engine was recently rebuilt and has less than 1500 miles. A few days ago as I was turning off the highway onto the road where I live, the engine died for no apparent reason. I coasted almost to my driveway and had to push it the rest of the way. When I got parked I noticed water coming from the radiator. It had a hole near the top and water continued to spew out. Today I replaced the radiator and I thought everything would be fine however the engine will not start. It attempts to run but only for a second. When I started to crank the engine I left the radiator cap off so I could top off the fluid. As soon as the engine turned over water gushed out of the radiator. Water is not getting into the oil.Would this be a blown head gasket? And if so, why would it blow for no apparent reason. Even though the radiator was leaking the engine never ran hot. The temperature gauge never rose and the radiator still had plenty of water in it after I managed to get home. Any advice?

I took the spark plugs out and cranked the engine. Cylinders #1 , #2 and #4 were normal however #3 had water spray out. Since the engine did not run hot would this be a head gasket issue? How can I determine for sure if it is the head gasket or not before tearing the engine apart? Any advice will be appreciated.
