1987 4runner 22RE help!!!!

I have a 1987 4 runner with a 22re doing some super strange things. Its over loading with fuel bad. It will only run if I unplug the fuel pump(for a short period of time) but as soon as I plug it in it dies immediately. Ive replaced fuel pressure regulator after letting it ait for a few month and it started right up And ran good took it down my drive way And boom shut off and wouldn't start back up UNPlugged pump again and after 20 sec of cranking it fired right back up. I noticed that the injector resistor on the pass. Firewall was getting so hot I could barley touch it. Got one from.a.salvage yard And same problem wont run unless pump is uncooked. And The injector resistor is getting incredibly hot. I just want to drive my 4runner again and will.do anything I need to get it running please help me figure this problem out.!!

Just how are you disconnecting the fuel pump??

What leads you to think you have a over fueling condition ??

What do your plugs look like after it quits are the wet??

If the injectors have dirt in them causing them to be stuck in the open position.

The ECU is allowing the injectors to stay grounded hence the fuel solenoid resistor getting hotter than normal because system voltage is always flowing.

Instead of the normal pulse controlled by the ECU they are in a open condition all the time the ignition is on.

Resistors do get hot that is why it is mounted in the aluminum heat sink.

This is just a guess at best

I'm unplugging it from pump under access panel. I've taken spark plugs out and with pump hooked up it will shoot gas 10 foot in the air from each cylinder

I highly doubt that all 4 injectors went bad at the exact same time. Only thing I can think of is ecu or the maf causing my issue. I use it for camping and going to the dunes and it has really put a hault on my fun this summer. I found a ecu an hour away from me for 20$ I just don't want to waste any more time or money
