1987 22rtec #3 injector problem?

1987 22RTEC Toyota Pickup SR5 4X4 # 3 injector won't fire. Engine rebuilt, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, injectors, computer, igniter, injector plugs. Rewired the injectors up to the fender well, not all the way to the computer. I get fire on #3 plug but my # 3 injector won't fire. I can plug #1 plug from that injector into # 3 and it will fire and vise versa. It seems I don't have enough power or resistance to fire both injectors. Weird. Please Help!!

Sounds to me like it could be clogged or just not funtioning. Below the picture of the Ground wires in this thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post52238808 is how I would check it. I would remove the crimps in the harness but it sounds like you may have already.

Today I tested the injectors with a noid lite. When I unplugged #1 to test it (new wiring, soldered and run all the way to the ecu for #1 & #3). With #3 plugged in I tested #1 and it checked out fine also. Number #3 will fire when #1 is unplugged. With #1 plugged in #3 won't fire, but both tested good on the noid lite. Checked Ohms on #1 and # 3 injectors, both tested good, as far as I could tell. Any ideas???? Could #1 still be bad even though it tested okay and is #1 pulling too much power from the #3? Please help...I don't know what to do!!
