The first picture of the vaccume line..... I also have that problem.... I've owned my yota for 3.5 years running just like that.... I would love to attach it to where ever it need to go.. someone let me know please!

OK, go to NAPA and get OP6086SB oil pressure sending unit, about $37. It has a nut made on it behind the threads, 14mm I think. Screw it in by hand and then use a wrench. Before you start, take the oil filter off, because you won't have room to use a wrench in there, and it's alot easier if you take the tire off.

It's just a little piece of rubber filled with this fiber stuff to keep dust and dirt out. Not a huge deal, the screw would slow the dashpot down becuase air would escape slower.

the screw is just a home made thing, i guess the person before me lost the VTV so i guess i will deal with the screw, oh well...

The screw is not factory just somebody that lost the little filter thingy and didn't want dirt to get in, or the dashpot allows the throttle to close to quickly without the filter either way it is not the correct configuration and i am sure you can get the little thing for cheap at the stealership.
