16x7 33"s?!?!?!?!

x3 - height is unlimited
Width - rule of thumb is 4", so an 11.50 or so for the road. You can go wider offroad, it will help hold the bead better, and the low pressure will help flatten out the contact patch

the tire contact wont be as wide with the 7 inch wide rim. Id try to go with an 8 inch if poissible. That inch will make a difference, a 12.50 on a 7 inch rim the tire is going to bow out on the sides. Also with the slimmer rim the tire will actually be taller then if you had a wider rim. Id go with the BFG M/T. Or a super swamper TSL.

also 85 > 75 - you're going to get more spread airing down the same amount due to the taller sidewall.

Think you got a typo there somewhere ... that size isn't listed on the Maxxis website, and no matter how you cut it, 285 is about 12" wide ... a 285/75 is listed on their website at 33x11.6. Stick to a tall/skinny and avoid the fitment issues...
