First off let me say... sweet truck. I'd like to do the same to mine but after a few long road trips i might just sell it and buy an xtra cab, it's not very comfy for a 6' 225# guy.

My 88 trans is noisy when you let off the gas too, I've put a different used tranny in it and the same noise is still there. POS or just the way it is?
