Yota Noob with some?s
So, ive always been a Yota fanboy, but decided to join the Jeep scene a few years ago (let the flaming commense). First bought a bone stock 88 XJ and built it from the ground up, sold it bought a 98, built it (mild 4.5" RE lift, 33s, etc)... Now, ive been offered to trade my 98 XJ for what I would consider a nicely built 84 22r Pickup. The 84 has 174k on it. Specs are:
Trail Gear 5" Extreme Flex Lift
35" km2s (KEvlar spare)
Front and rear locker (rear cable locker)
Beard Built d shaft square front shaft
ALl Pro Crossover High Steer
IFS swap rear axle
Trail Gear diff covers (front and rear)
Trailgear front truss
Tool Box
Crawler Wheels
tube sliders
Custom front bumper
9500 lb Warn winch
weber carb (with a rebuild kit)
Marlin Doubler
4:1 Marlin rear case
front stock 2:1 ratio
Marlin Crawler Twin Sticks
Full underbelly skid
Disc E brake on rear shaft.
Overall clean, no rust that ive seen... What do the experts think?

The kid and his dad are meeting me today. He already said he wants my rig, and im pretty sure I want his. If we both like what we see the trade will commence sunday, when his mom can sign over the title to me.

Or you can just put it up on jack stands and practice shifting gears before you actually take it out on the street. That's how I taught myself to drive manual at 17. I bought me a truck in high school. And my dad showed me how change gears then I practiced in our drive way for a good week till I got the hang of it. Then we moved to the street. Was nicer this way. Not having people in the street laugh at you as your car/truck turns off on you as you learn lol

clutch down, bang gears, drop clutch, hammer down. learning to drive a stick is easy especially these toyotas, I learned to drive a stick when i was 14 or 15 with a 1964 chevy truck.
also get this truck you would be a fool to not make the trade.
