Where do I find an E-Brake extension
#2
tight e-brake cable
Step 1 is to remove the cable from the last bracket extending back benind the gas tank, then step 2 is to cut or unbolt the band that holds the cable against the frame rail next to the gas tank. That'll let things drop down a bunch.
Next, depending on where the cable crosses your springs, you might want to extend the center pivot up, and simply cut off/remove the cable guide or extend it. then, extend your e-brake levers on the brakes to get it to line up nicely. with the center pivot.
After this, you cut all the e-brake stuff off and throw a log in the back for a wheel chock. (or look into t-case mounted brakes or linelocks)

Make one, I used a piece of water pipe and a longer bolt:

Also, for no cost, you can just relocate or remove some of the clamps holding the e-brake cable to the frame. I think on mine, I removed the last one, lowered one or two in front of that:

I have ~4-5" lift plus have the crossmember where the e-brake attaches raised 3" higher than stock and the e-brake still works fine:

That's a great jumping off point. I don't think I'll need to extend it, now that I consider the brackets. I'll be swapping on an IFS rear axle soon anyway, so I might just wait until I do that as I need to change the e-brake cable anyway.
