Went.040 over should I expect any probs?

Im throwing it back together tonight. I bought all new .040 over internals from engbldr and a 261 lift cam. Im currently running either a 32/36 or a 36/32 weber carb I am not completely sure it came with the truck none the less I have heard that you need to run a FPR with that carb for reasons of to much fuel. My question is since I have now increased bore and kept the same fuel pressure, volume, spec, ect therefore leaning my engine out pretty dramatically. Should I still need to use the FPR?... and also if anyone else has gone this route or any similar builds... do you like it? what was the outcome, any problems with running hot? I also threw an electric fan on to help a little. Thanks!!!
