Vacuum like AAP part question?

87 toyota 22r. My girlfriend is having some issues, I just rebuilt the carb but I cannot figure out what the yellow part coming from the AAP is. Im assuming it allows air to travel only one way. I cannot get get air to travel either. What part is this?

Hmmm, is your girlfriend having issues or is her rig? Well, she may be having issues if her rig is not running.

Have you looked in the FSM? You can find it in my sig line below.

Yes I know, late to the party. But since the question hasn't been answered...

The only thing yellow thing connected to the AAP is a three-way vacuum plug, part number 90413-04004. It ties the AAP to the choke pull off/fast idle cam. It does not have any restrictions in it to flow in one direction. There is a restriction in it but that is for a different reason. And technically it does flow in only one direction as it is connected to a vacuum source, but it is not constructed to only flow in one direction.

There is another yellow plastic part to the carburetor. Toyota calls it a "jet", part number 90925-04006. This jet is connected to the choke breaker.
