temp gauge help

my temp gauge doesnt work does anyone know where the sending unit is so i can put in another

My gauge doesn't work also. Once was over heating really bad due to a blown hose and the temp gauge staid at the same level as always about 1/4 warm.

Check connections on the sensor on the thermostat housing and I think the actual sensor for the gauge is under the intake.

If your overheating and the gauge doesn't read then a theres few things could be wrong. There is not enough water in the system to touch the sensor, so the gauge cannot read the water temp..just kind of feel the heat off of it. The sensor could be bad or going bad..loose connections..or the dash gauge itself needs some attention.
