Swapping 40 amp LEF alternator to 55 amp FEN

Swapping 40 amp LEF alternator to 55 amp FEN
My 84 originally had a 40 amp LEF alternator and a 5 pin external regulator installed. The alternator is no longer working after having it tested.
I happen to have a new 55 amp FEN alternator along with a 6 pin external regulator.
I can't seem to find any wiring diagrams showing a 55 amp alternator in regards to wiring the 6 pin regulator
Is this swap possible without having to redo all the charging system wiring? Thanks.

I found a Pinout
It turns out in the Haynes manual there is a photo of a pinout for the six pin voltage regulator,
The last pin I have not figured out to use is the one labeled as L in the photo, any leads as to where this goes?
